Instead of sleek, generic designs, we create bags that are functional, streetwear-inspired, and unapologetically individual — so you can move from the office to after-work life without sacrificing style or confidence.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We compensate for all the CO₂-emissions caused by our shipping and our dastdast leather bags are crafted from deadstock material that would otherwise be discarded — reclaimed, reworked, and reborn into something unique. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind, reflecting the natural variety of the materials while staying true to our philosophy: sustainability by default, individuality by choice.

I'm David, the founder. My journey began as an economist in the corporate world, where I felt myself slowly changing, adjusting my style and sense of purpose to fit in. At some point, I knew I had to choose between continuing to pretend or finally following my dream. So I quit, studied design, and went on to Parsons School of Design in NYC to specialize in fashion products. That’s where the idea for Boom Boom took shape: a collection for individuals living boldly and true to themselves. Today, dast dast is my way of sharing this vision — a brand that empowers you to be yourself, all day, every day.
